BookSwap does not intend to collect or store complete card credentials where payment processing is performed by a third-party payment provider. Users should review the applicable terms and privacy practices of the payment provider used for a transaction.

When an account is deleted, BookSwap will delete or anonymize personal information associated with the active account where reasonably possible, subject to information that BookSwap is permitted or required to retain for legitimate purposes.
Users may delete their account through Settings → Delete Account in the BookSwap application.
After account deletion, BookSwap may retain a limited internal deleted-account identifier and limited transaction, payment, security, fraud-prevention, or legally required records where reasonably necessary for legitimate purposes.
The retained deleted-account identifier is not used to maintain an active account or to continue ordinary personalized use of BookSwap. It may be used only for legitimate purposes such as security, fraud prevention, transaction records, legal compliance, or protecting BookSwap and its users.

If a user deletes an account while a transaction is active or incomplete, BookSwap may retain limited information necessary to complete, record, or resolve the transaction.
